AI Empowers Defense | Taiding New Energy Successfully Concludes Its 2025 Fire Safety Public Awareness Month

After more than a month of meticulous planning and efficient execution, the series of events for the 2025 “119 Fire Safety Publicity Month” has concluded successfully. On December 1, Taiding New Energy convened a summary meeting specifically to review the month’s activities, comprehensively assess their outcomes, and identify existing challenges, thereby setting clear directions for future fire safety efforts. Senior management—including General Manager Zhang, Director Yan from the Battery Cell R&D Center, Directors Xie and Xu from the Battery Cell Division, and Directors Wang and Hu from the Module Division—attended in full force. Department managers and safety officer representatives also gathered to participate in the session. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Yangyang of the EHS Office.

At the outset of the meeting, Zhang Yangyang presented a comprehensive review of the substantial achievements of this Fire Safety Month campaign, using a set of detailed data to provide a clear and visual depiction of the initiative’s outcomes.

In the special‑topic campaign, all employees participated in the AI‑driven hazard‑identification initiative, collectively reporting 76 potential hazards with a rectification rate of 96%. A total of 1,228 employees took part in fire‑safety drills, completing evacuation within five minutes. During high‑level safety inspections of the plant, 45 identified issues were fully addressed and brought into a closed‑loop improvement process. Furthermore, on‑site response drills demonstrated standardized procedures at every stage, and the exercise was rated as satisfactory.

The cultural‑focused initiatives also yielded impressive results: the AI blind‑box test attracted 466 participants, with a pass rate exceeding 95%; 13 specialized fire‑safety training sessions were conducted across all business units, ensuring full coverage of key positions; and ongoing safety‑culture outreach efforts resulted in the publication of six awareness‑raising articles, while 24 employees actively took part in a fire‑safety knowledge competition. In addition, as part of the Fire Safety Month campaign themed “Fire Safety for All—Life First, Safe Use of Fire and Electricity,” three practical and actionable improvement proposals were collected and put forward.

Meanwhile, Zhang Yangyang highlighted the shortcomings of this year’s Fire Safety Month campaign, pointing to issues that arose during fire drills, knowledge contests, AI‑based hazard identification, emergency response exercises, and training sessions. These included insufficient attention to fire drills among some personnel and limited adoption of AI‑powered hazard‑identification tools. Zhang Yangyang emphasized that only by confronting these challenges head‑on and conducting a thorough analysis can we lay a solid foundation for preventing problems before they occur in future efforts.

Following this, the meeting moved on to the awards ceremony, recognizing outstanding teams for their contributions during Fire Safety Month. In the second AI‑Based Hazard Identification Campaign, the Module Business Unit and the Battery Cell Business Unit took first and second place, respectively; meanwhile, the Module Production Department was honored with the “Effective Hazard Star” title for its exceptional performance in hazard inspections. The venue erupted in thunderous applause—both a testament to the awardees’ achievements and a powerful reminder of the collective responsibility for fire safety.

At the conclusion of the meeting, General Manager of Operations and EHS Representative, Mr. Zhang, delivered a closing address.

On the basis of reviewing the overall progress of the event, he once again highlighted and underscored the shortcomings previously identified, emphasizing that some personnel have not accorded sufficient attention to fire‑drill exercises—precisely the “major pitfall” that must be vigilantly avoided in corporate fire safety efforts. General Manager Zhang urged all departments to take this Fire Safety Month as a fresh starting point, deeply embedding the principle of fire safety in their minds and translating it into concrete actions. He also called for the swift formulation of corrective measures to address the issues that have surfaced, further refining the fire‑safety management system and effectively fortifying the enterprise’s “firewall” for safe production.
